Beasts of Tamriel - A Modpack For Leveling Guide

With the game still struggling with balance, I started looking at modpacks for leveling guide as a possible solution, and soon I found Beasts of Tamriel! A very well-done modpack that adds dozens of new creatures and monsters to the game and greatly expands your game play. It also gives hunters a truly wide range of prey to hunt. I especially love the fact that this modpack includes several different styles of armor for both human and beast, along with many different weapon mods that will greatly improve your damage and kill count.

My main article about this modpack was about the ability to use sprint and sneaking to get around more quickly. That's something this mod has in spades. Now you can run and hide faster, sneak up on enemies while they are unsuspecting, and even cause a bit of confusion with an area effect that makes everything in a 500 block radius area go blind. This is extremely useful when rushing through a mob of hostile beastfolk and should be used whenever possible.

The best thing about this modpack is the fact that it includes bug fixes as well. Some creature models are missing textures and other instances. That's a huge problem, so this fix helps out tremendously. There are also several tweaks made for leveling up and combat that should make things a bit easier for those starting out.
